Philosophy |
As an avid learner Lisa continuously seeks to broaden her educational philosophy through attending conferences, self study, and diligent research on the most current best practices in education. Her latest research has led her to incorporate number talks, rich group tasks, and alternative assessment opportunities for students. She is also working diligently to create a classroom culture that has a focus on deep, conceptual understanding of mathematics. To that end Lisa's classroom is constructed around the 6 C's; critical thinking, creative problem solving, collaboration, communication, connection making, curiosity.
